Well,... ALWAYS get renter's insurance. This week has been hell. I moved into the new place on the 1st.. remember that day.. 95F with humidity to make it feel like over 100 f??Well, the AC decided to break down that day. Didn't get fixed until Thurs.

Last night, after a stressfull day of testing (Praxis) and then heading to Warren for a bit to get my bed frame, I went to bed around 10pm. My roomie woke me up at 2 am saying "hate to wake you up but we have a "slight" emergency." Well, as I went to open up the door, my foot sank into a puddle of water in the carpet. The girls on the 3rd floor don't know how to operate a toilet, so therefore.. causing flooding all the way down to the 1st floor. Now I have air mover in my apt. trying to dry up the water. I need to go to the store and get the strongest fecal matter killing junk I can find, and start the process of sanitizing the apt.

Wonderful times in the first week !!!

After some pestering.. time for an update. I've been totally forgetting about this site. Kinda on purpose. I think I wanted to express my thoughts, but I've realized that I needed a journal that noone knows about. I've got one, but if it makes you feel better not much as written in there either.

But, since some of you asked... what's been going on in the life of Jon? Work and school dominate the scene. I'm moving on Tues (Aug.1) to Kent, where in the first time in my life, I'm moving in with a complete stranger. This will cut out a lot of drive time. With gas prices being the way that they are, every little bit helps. I'm moving to Eagle's Landing, which is basically right next to Michael Schwartz Center. I get to walk to my classes now.

I've decided to take on a challenge on a website that I go to. I will start off with 100pts. For every workout, unclean meal, daily update, and a few other things.. that I miss I deduct a point from the 100pts. The goal is to keep you 100pts. It's supposed to build consistancy. I'm going to get my body composition done up today. I'm guessing that I've got somewhere around the neighborhood of 30+ percentage of body fat. This is unacceptable!

School starts back up on Aug. 28th. Classes are Phonemic Bases, Math Concepts I, ASL III with Fred down in Canton, and Art of Theater. I'm still pissed about my gpa. I took a summer class so that I could get a 2.75 (to declare major) but I got a B and went from a 2.733 to a 2.745.  Ohh well.

Life sucks!

Can it be?? A real entry?

Yep...

A lot of things have been weighing on my mind... school, work, and living area. I'm just now starting to get into my major which is starting to freak me out. Will I have what it takes to become a teacher, let alone be a teacher? How will I afford it? Even working full-time bills are just being paid nothing is set aside for "rainy days." Which brings up the point - do I move closer to work/ school?

With gas prices reaching close to 3.00 / gal. I'm paying approximately 450.00 a month in gas. Yes that's a rent payment/ car payment... but there would be additional expenses such as food, entertainment, electric, etc etc .. so I sit here trying to decide what to do. I have over 1,000 to pay for 1 stinking class in the summer. That doesn't even cover books.

UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
